Mr Jean-Pascal Le Franc, head of the European Affairs department at CNES, already attended the last week ESA seminar and gave two interesting presentations on the new European Space Policy and its implementation. He will be, obviously, the keystone of our component on ESA organization and rules.

Dr Daniela Niessen, expert in legislation affairs, specialist in the Unidroit convention, will complete the DLR team, replacing Ms Isabelle Arnold. She will participate to the next legislation seminar to take place in Kiev at NSAU on February 26-27th, 2009.

Mr Borys Atamanenko, director of the International Relations department at NSAU, responsible for this new structure, took the opportunity of the presence of Mr Thorsten Rudolph, our Galileo expert, and director of the ACSN structure in Germany, to organize a meeting in the new, fully equipped, room devoted to this activity.

A presentation of the ACSN structure and of the numerous companies initiated within this structure was made, generating many questions and detailed answers. This unformal meeting, attended by Mr Eduard Kuznietsov, NSAU deputy general director, allowed a fruitful exchange of experiences and paved the way for further cooperation.
